HomePass uses an adaptive network service to ensure devices consistently receive optimal levels of connectivity. Standard WiFi extenders do not account for a host of reasons that a connection can be disrupted such as neighboring networks, changes in signal strength, and radar interference. Additionally, HomePass offers value added services other products do not provide out of the box.
Yes, HomePass monitors other WiFi connected devices in your home and reports suspicious behavior in the HomePass app. HomePass also allows you to boost connectivity to security classified devices to keep your home protected while you are away.
